![]() Staying active is the biggest element here, no doubt about that, however there's a point where buildings and technology have a higher cost to unlock, which means that you need more income in general, and the more advanced you are, the more income you'll get. ![]() My point in bringing this up for discussion is to suggest that military buildings, technology and Civ Age should enter into the equation. I could stay #1 if I wanted to be even more active. I have nothing from the Iron Age other than some of the roof tile houses (15 min gold producers), yet I am able to keep pace and pass the more advanced players in my group. The other players grouped around me are, in general, more advanced militarily and more advanced in their cities. Naturally, if all players maintained the same activity level, the advanced players are going to be ranked higher, however that wasn't what I was debating.Ĭurrently I bounce between rank 1 to 3 in my group of 80. You are assuming certain activity levels of the more advanced players. My assertion was that if I remained "super active", I could be several ages behind other players and stay above them in points. ![]() Click to expand. While at a basic level your point has merit, at the same time you are making assumptions. ![]()
